ESI and Ethics for Paralegals and Attorneys 09-08-2010 - Dr. Gavin W. Manes Baton Rouge Bar Association, Annual Conference 
Dr. Manes will present an overview of electronically stored information in the modern legal landscape. It begins with the definition of a variety of commonly used terms. The presenter then provides an overview of ESI processing as well as the basics of procedures applicable to discovery of electronic information. The steps of preservation and processing will be discussed, as well as a brief overview of redaction and clawback procedures. The presenter will include with a discussion of document review and the ethics of ESI.
This presentation will be a part of Law Expo Free CLE Seminars during the Annual Conference, covering Ethics and Professionalism. The presentation will take place at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino. The Baton Rouge Bar Association has been serving the legal profession and the public for more than 66 years.
