Dr. Gavin W. Manes will provide an overview of the uses of digital forensics and electronic discovery in the modern legal landscape. It includes sections on the digital forensics and electronic discovery process, from collection and filtering through investigation and storage, as well as some of the complexities involved in preservation and production of digital information. Dr. Manes will include specific sections detailing data processing procedures, the complexities of metadata, and data preservation and collection issues.

This presentation will take place at the Arkansas Bar Center beginning at 12:30 PM. It will count for 3 hours of CLE credit.

The goal of the Arkansas Bar Association is to create new opportunities for the Association to communicate with the public and the legal community.
