Electronically Stored Information: Focus on Data Preservation

Dr. Gavin Manes will give an hourlong talk to the Oklahoma Bar Association's Appellate Practice Section on Tuesday October 19th. He will be in person at the OSU-Tulsa campus North Hall building and available by teleconference for those in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Manes will be specifically discussing the preservation stage of e–discovery. He will detail the preservation and collection issues related to digital evidence, particularly in relation to the court’s expectations and past acceptance of such information. Dr. Manes will cover the current case law relating to data preservation in advance of electronic discovery projects.

Each Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association provides Oklahoma attorneys with the means to become involved in a meaningful way with their bar association and to be on the leading edge of the latest in information about areas of practice to better serve their clients.
