04-01-2020 - Dr. Gavin W. Manes and John Cowling
Avansic's Work-at-Home Wednesday
We have put together a little Wednesday Webinar series for everyone working from home - earn a little CLE credit while learning more about e-discovery at the same time!

On Wednesday, April 1st at 1 PM CST, Our second topic will be E-Discovery and Document Review in a Remote World. This week Dr. Manes will be joined by a special guest John Cowling from Armstrong Teasdale, where he is a litigation partner and the president of LAWgical Choice. He and his firm have been using web-based review systems for many years. He primarily uses the iCONECT XERA platform but he has experience with several other platforms and analytics packages.

On the webinar, John and I will be discussing practical tips on how to efficiently conduct an e-discovery project during preservation, processing, review and production. We will provide in-depth guidance on how to structure document review to make the most of your team's time, including practical tips and planning recommendations. We will also include a discussion of ESI protocols and the common stumbling blocks when creating them. This particular version of the presentation will focus on items relevant to those working remotely.

This is event is approved for 1 hour of CLE credit for those in Oklahoma, and is approved by NALA for non-substantive credit - for those seeking credit elsewhere, we are happy to provide any information necessary to self-submit.
